Dear All,
We are looking at potentially buying a new house and using the Help to Buy scheme.
I have been told that this scheme is only available if you are either a first time buyer or have actually sold your current property.
Is this correct ? - we are looking at houses but our house is not on the market yet.
Could anybody please confirm or point me in the right direction ?

depends on who you are buying from...we have reserved a TW house, and are using their EasyMover scheme where they advertise our current house with the estate agents, and pay their fees etc0
