Lloyds PPi text responze

Quick query.

My missus has submitted a claim, been bounced around between lloyds and fos and the latter have now instructed lloyds to deal with it properly.

She has now received a text message from lloyds confirming they are looking into it, but stating they will only be communicating by text.

Wondered if anyone else had experienced this as there is obviously no definitive way of confirming that it is actually lloyds that are submitting the text.

    This sounds very odd.

I would call the main PPI complaints line number that's listed on the Lloyds website and ask them what the deal is.

Doesn't sound like Lloyds PPI department. I know they were looking into using methods like texting, but they move so slowly, that it would likely be a year or so before they would implement anything like that. On the other hand there was a period where they sent out letters that looked so bad that a lot of people thought they were scam letters. :D. Best to call the PPI line ( 0800 151 0292) as shown on their website
