[Co-Op Bank] London weighting on top of salary?

I'm wondering if anyone knew what the London weighting was for Co-Op bank roles in a high street branch, I ask as I've had to leave my old job and I've been offered a job that I'm accepting (due to getting nowhere fast with other roles) however the salary was lower than expected but there's talk of a London weighting on top of salary, I'm more concerned about this as it's a 40hr working week which on basic salary pays below minimum/living wage per hour.
Does anyone have an experience in this area, I know that the weighting on grad schemes is £4k which I'd hope for but I don't know where it stands for those in non-grad scheme roles with lower pay grades.

For central London £4k weighting sounds about right. I'd be more concerned about the basic wage being below the NLW, are you sure you've understood the offer properly?0

Yes I've understood the offer correctly, it's NMW for someone a lot younger than I but not for someone may age (although not off by much) hence why I'm hoping that the London weighting will swing it slightly to make it better.
Thanks.0 -
Well, unless they are suggesting that the London weighting is taken into account when determining whether the wage is above NMW (I don't know whether it is or not, although I'd hope not) then I'd presume that they have made the wrong offer to you.0

There are websites like glassdoors where you can check salaries elsewhere in the country for certain jobs. Just compare your salary in London with one in say the midlands on there, if yours is around 3-5k more then the London weighting will be included.0
