    About Us
The International Parking Community is an organisation that was created to fulfil the role as an Accredited Trade Association within the parking industry.
The IPC operates a Code of Practice that encourages good practice and facilitates the fair release of data where there is a right to recover parking charges. The fair release of data is instrumental in protecting the rights of land owners and now has statutory recognition since the 1st October 2012 with the enactment of the Protection of Freedoms Act.

The IPC provides services to its members and supports them. The IPC does not provide any legal services.

however the owners of the IPC , will provide legal services via Gladstone solicitor's which incidentally has the same owners

    Thanks for all your help.

I would say just ignore them?? I'm not sure who I can report this to?

I will defiantly email the parking prankster and see if he has any advise.

    Cheers

During the course of the day, other experienced people will advise you so hang on.

The last thing you want is for gladstones to issue court papers, they really are stupid enough to do so it must be pinched in the bud now.

A good start to complain is to get your MP involved about the scam

You are in no rush so wait to see what others have to say.

It's all good fun especially when scammers fall into the trap

Search the forum for 'own space' or 'residential space' or 'permit bay' and you will find HUNDREDS like yours.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi,

    Thanks for the info.

I have read the newbie feed and to be honest it just confuses me!!

I'm sorry for being a complete div.

If there a way I can upload my letter for you to look at?

I know you don't get paid for doing this and must have helped hundreds of people with the same query but reading all the information just goes over my head.

    Thanks

Where you are starting from 50 yards back is that you have no doubt appealed and told your story, no doubt admitting in your appeals that you forgot your permit and acknowledging that you were aware of the t&c.

You will need some pretty good counter arguments/appeal points to catch up.

Photograph the signs and post them up. Have you still got the PCN and NtK? Again, they must be of a sufficient "quality" (even the IPC has some published standards).

Do not accept the court nearest to Gladstone or ACE if they do decide to do court.

But be aware that court is a lottery with some badly informed DDJs who seem persuaded to uphold contracts unless you can shoot them down.. Feel reassured to accept advice on here from those with a good post count and reputation on here.

It is confusing when you are new.
So, what we can do is this ...

If you have a scanner, scan the letter and save it as a jpg file so you can attach it to an email.
If not you can take a picture on your phone and send it to your computer to so the same.

Then please PM me to arrange to send them to me and I will upload for you. Really need to see the gladstones letter and the parking notice

Here is the Gladstones letter to you

    http://i1057.photobucket.com/albums/t400/mypics145/gladstones/gladstones.jpg

    REMEMBER ..

    Gladstones own the IPC/IAS ???

    THE SCAM ??

1: Ace decline your appeal who are IPC/IAS members
2: IAS decline your appeal and then ......
3: Gladstones start chasing you for money ? £150

Will Hurley and John Davies both of IPC/IAS/GLADSTONES

This is a lovely scam which probably works on unsuspecting people but not on this forum. Gladstones have been caught out
The OP must report this issue to his local Trading Standards and the SRA as it is clear that Gladstones are using their system in an attempt to extort money

I would like to disagree. This looks like a genuine Letter before Claim from Gladstones acting as a Solicitor. Suggest you engage at this stage and write back.
