paysafe

hi, i bought a paysafe voucher on saturday and lost it,ive been to the store where i bought it but they dont keep duplicates and the transaction would no longer be on their system, but they did say they dont sell too many paysafe vouchers,
ive contacted paysafe twice and they told me there was nothing they could do,i supplied them with the store address and the time i bought the voucher but still they refuse to help,
the thing is it now means that this company has my money for nothing,i know i lost the voucher, ive lost vouchers before when using UKASH and when i supplied details of when and where i bought it they cancelled it and issued a new one,why cant paysafe do likewise,
have i any other options?
thanks.

What's the difference between losing this voucher and going to an ATM and dropping a £10 note as you walk away? Would you expect the bank to give you another one?

It must be gutting but you can't expect them to replace it even if you do provide the exact time and place - you might just have "shoulder surfed" the genuine purchaser in front of you at the till. You need to see it from both sides. Sorry.

You say you have lost vouchers before from other companies like UKASH.

    I suggest you either.

    1) stop buying vouchers as you keep losing them
    2) take better care of the vouchers

Yea, it strikes me as odd that OP has lost a number of UKASH vouchers in the past and has also swapped over to Paysafe.

I know Paysafe are super hot on fraud, so I'm really not surprised! Not sure about UKASH. But OP's actions certainly ring alarm bells, especially as they are using (relatively) untraceable methods of making payments.

You are going to have to chalk this one up to your own fault and if PaySafe aren't willing to help then I am afraid you are probably out of options.

    hi thanks for the replies,
LILELVIS, the difference between losing the voucher and losing a 10 pound note is that PAYSAFE if they could be bothered could trace and then see the voucher hasnt been used, the bank cant do that with the 10 pound note,so NO its not the same,i dont know where yer going with the shoulder surfing,i lost the voucher and paysafe could quite easily check that it hasnt been used.
MARLIE i have lost 2 UKASH vouchers in the past and they checked where i bought them, saw they hadnt been used and issued new ones,i always try and look after them but accidents happen,i buy on average about 2 vouchers per week for the last few years so 3 outta well over 300 isnt so bad.the number of vouchers ive bought over the years probably number a lot more than the very conservative estimate of 300
DAYTONA the site i use stopped accepting UKASH and introducedpaysafe a few months ago thats why i changed to paysafe,
OP=ORIGINAL POSTER? why would my actions ring alarm bells?
ARANDOM,thanks the kinda help i was looking for and i had already waved goodbye to the money but just thought it was unfair that this company gets to keep someone elses money,id rather it went to charity than in their pockets

None at all. You've spoken to paysafe who can't assist, so that's the end of the line im afraid.

Perhaps in future every time you go to buy a voucher you should think "I'll probably lose this" and just donate the money to charity instead.
