travel visa

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help...I have recently purchased travel visas for Canada but I've used the wrong website which has charged me hugely over the odds. Does anyone have any advice with regards to refunds? The official site charges $7 but I've paid almost £200. Help desperately needed.

you've paid a company a premium for their service, and i bet if you looked on their website it would state this, and you have accepted their terms and conditions.

the only chance you have, is to chase it up with your bank first thing tommorow

Not sure how you came to pay so much, if you google visa for canada the first unsponsored link is the visit Canada page or the government of Canada.
  • Thanks for all the replies. I was stupid, I admit that. Had never applied for one before and clearly I've been conned. Just thought there was one official website, had no Idea other companies could do what they have done.

No you haven't been conned. It would have stated what you were buying if you had read it.
Did you not check anywhere to see how much a Visa was?
A hard, expensive lesson to learn, check before you buy.
