Hi

We complete on a house with owned solar panels in two weeks

How do i `register` or otherwise with the energy company i use ?

I have the guarantee from the seller , what else do i need?

You cannot apply for FiTs. The seller has to complete a change of ownership form and send it to the FiT payer along with an agreed meter reading. As the PV solar contract is a generation contract, there is no need to transfer the contract to your chosen supplier. The Govt sets the FiT rate so who pays you is somewhat academic.

Your solicitor should be on top of all this: for example, checking that the warranty/insurance is transferable.
