It’s our 70th birthday and we’re celebrating the meaningful and significant journeys and stories that have started at Heathrow. We’re inviting you to Add your story to receive one of our Birthday Gifts.

It couldn't be easier:

1. Add your story with a few simple questions.

(the richer your story, the better birthday present you’ll receive)

2. Then over the next two weeks, we’ll read all the stories and select a great present for you.

3. Then ta-dah, after two or three weeks after sharing your story, you’ll find out which gift you’ll be unwrapping!

All valid entries (subject to Clause 19 “Moderation”) will be judged by independent judge, PromoVeritas, on the dates shown in Clause 3 and in accordance with the following criteria:
I. Quality of story;
II. How the story shows personal progression/ development as a result of your Heathrow experience;
III. If the story includes Heathrow as catalyst for change; and
IV. How heart-warming their story is;

Closing date and time: 23.59 on 13th June 2016
Judging date: 14th June 2016

I've tried to submit an entry but it seems to go back to "What was meaningful about this trip" - I think my story must've been boring

same here and I wrote an epic story!

Just as a test it let me submit my story ""It was great" with the rest of the form just a load of junk "cnjkern" details (didn't take a load of junk for the story, tried that a couple of times but it went through when I changed it to "It was great"

You're right mjm3346 - it seems like you need to make it really short and then it's accepted.

i think it's to do with what grammer you use, for example, mine wouldn't submit if i used a -.

Mine accepted but said

'WE’RE SORRY, WE CAN ONLY SEND BIRTHDAY PRESENTS TO A UK ADDRESS. WE’D STILL LOVE TO HEAR YOUR STORY THOUGH – IT WILL STILL BE INCLUDED IN OUR CELEBRATIONS!'

I ticked UK as my country so now I don't know if I am entered or not!
