Vitality Life Insurance

Thinking for changing my life insurance to Vitality as I have heard it can be linked to your fitness - i.e. I do a weekly parkrun and a few runs a week so maybe I can link it to my fitbit.
Anyone else got a policy like this with Vitality or something similar?

Yep 100% worth it. I have a garmin vivofit2 device that you can buy half price on the plan, husband has something much fancier. So I saved £40. It's linked to the plan so the more steps you do the more points you get the more points you get the more perks you get (free cinema tickets once a week, free starbucks once a week, discounted gym memberships, discounted health checks, the list goes on). I pay £38/mth it covers a vast range of illnesses too. Well worth it.0

Great idea if you're keeping fit - the actual add-on is called Vitality Optimiser: https://www.pruprotect.co.uk/personal-protection/vitality-optimiser/
Apparently if you try hard enough, you could push your premiums down by 1% each year - helpful with their gym discounts!
Have you had a shop around for where to get it? Although I didn't get a Vitality Life policy, I bought my LV policy with Best Price FS (https://www.bestpricefs.co.uk/life-insurance). Did a few comparisons (GoCompare, Confused) and it was £10.16 with BPFS, whereas MoneySupermarket was £11.79. Not sure what they're like for Vitality but I saw them on there, so may be worth a check!0
