How do I connect Dell XPS13 to Dell U2515H Monitor

Okay I have a Dell XP13 laptop running windows 10 and I have just bought an external monitor, the Dell U2525h however I don't know what ports to use on my laptop and what lead I may have to buy to make it all happen.

If it's the latest one then it looks as though you need to buy an adaptor from Dell to connect ANY monitor.
(Other USB to display adaptors may be available)0 -
I thought that maybe the case, looks like I might need a Thunderbolt (tiny thing)to HDMI.0

well the mini display to hdmi which came with the monitor is to big for my laptop port.0
