Sorry to hear of your troubles and I hope the cancer diagnosis is better than you expect. as far as your bank goes I dont think they can dictate to you what you have to do . try ringing CCCS or go onto thier website they are very experienced, very kind and best of all they offer free advice and help. ( best thing I ever did) as far as your ex is concerened, I was separated for 23 years before getting around to a divorce, as someone has already said unless you make a will or get divorced everything will go to your ex so you really do need to sort this. good luck with everything
