I have done quite well in not buying much since I joined here in April, just 9 items purchased and have hardly ventured in to a BOOTS!
UU’s
AUSSIE COLOUR MATE CONDITIONER 250ML (Bought for a £1 in Poundworld, still one to use in stash, but I didn’t find it very good for my hair, so WNBA)
AUSSIE MIRACLE MOIST SHAMPOO 500ML (Just dried out my hair and made it frizzy, WNBA)
AVEENO DAILY MOISTURISING LOTION 300ML (WNBA, I didn’t find it very moisturising)
BLISTEX INTENSIVE LIP MOISTURISER 5G (WBA, only when used up other products)
COLGATE MAX WHITE ONE SENSATIONAL MINT MOUTHWASH 500ML (WBA, my regular used product)
DOVE BEAUTY FINISH ANTI-PERSPIRANT ROLL ON 50ML (WNBA, I think it has been discontinued, had this in for ages, didn’t rate the smell!)
DOVE INVISABLE DRY ANTI-PERSPIRANT DEODORANT 250ML X 2 (WNBA, smells too overpowering, and really dries out my underarms!)
GARNIER SKIN ACTIVE OIL-INFUSED MICELLAR CLEANSING WIPES (WBA, I really love these, but still have several packets to use up, along with other wipes, but these are a new favourite!)
VASELINE LIP THERAPY WITH COCOA BUTTER 20G (WNBA, I used on my feet overnight in the end!)
IMPULSE INTO GLAMOUR BODY SPRAY 75ML X 2 (WBA, I like this smell, but it does not linger, I am perhaps too old for using body sprays now!)
JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ-EASE MIRACULOUS RECOVERY CRÈME SERUM 50ML (WBA, a favourite of mine, still got three to get through, and discovered they are 3 for £10 in ASDA!)
M&S COCOA BUTTER HAND WASH 300ML X 2 (WNBA, I didn’t rate this product at all!)
SIMPLE SHOWER GEL WTH MINT OIL 250ML X 2 (WBA, I loved this, but so much other shower stuff to use before I buy again, and I have spotted it for 99p in Home Bargains!)
SOLTAN DRY TOUCH SUNCARE SPRAY SPF 30 200ML (WNBA, I just didn’t get on with this, still another to use up though!)
SUPERDRUG COCONUT OIL 125ML (WNBA, this did nothing for my hair!)
THINGS PURCHASED
ORIGINAL MINT SOURCE SHOWER GEL 250ML X 1
SOFT & GENTLE JASMINE & COCO MILK ANTI-PERSPIRANT DEODORANT 150ML X 3
JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ-EASE MIRACULOUS RECOVERY CRÈME SERUM 50ML X 2
JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ-EASE DEEP CONDITIONER 150ML X 1
(The latter three, were 3 for £10 in ASDA!)
CREIGHTONS TOTALLY TAME SHAMPOO 250ML X 1
CREIGHTONS TOTALLY TAME CONDITIONER 250ML X 1
(I've been impressed with Creighton's Shampoo's and Conditioners so far, and these are just 99p in Home Bargains)

Thanks for the new thread Dolly!
I'm in again as usual. after May, i really don't need anything extra so I'm aiming for a no buy aside from the love lula box I've already paid for and anything that comes along with the vegan kind normal box.I've read good reviews for the Origins Ginseng Eye Cream - it has a bit of a cult following among beauty bloggers. I haven't tried it myself as it's out of my budget.
This is my HG morning eye cream. it does make you look more awake but its not moisturising so you will need to layer if you need something moisturising too. if you want to get hold of it cheaply, Origins usually include a 15ml tube in their skincare sets which looks deceiving as the packing is normally a pot but the full size pot is 15ml. I said to a SA once when i compared the actual figures on the sets to the full size that i can't believe this is a full size in a set when it looks like an add on freebie to a full size face cream and she agreed that people don't usually twig its the full size as its not in the usual pot! she also gave me 3 of the 5ml samples of it for noticing so i scored another "full size" off them for nothing! :j I was gutted when i found Origins aren't cruelty free as i now need to find a replacement for this!
UU:
Espa travel size pro serum - HG serum.
Espa facial spray - WNBA, this has so much alcohol in!
Urban Veda day cream - WNBA, this make my skin feel really dry and tight,
Urban Veda exfoliator - WNBA, this was too harsh on my face so repurposed as body scrub.
Stila primer - this was a previous HG but still aren't cruelty free so need a replacement!
Bobbi Brown eye cream - WNBA, no different to cheaper creams!
Bobbi Brown mascara - WNBA, dried out so fast!
Too Faced better than sex mascara - WNBA, this was SO clumpy!
Faith in Nature hand wash - WBA, does the job and smelt lovely

new benefit brow pencil came with my Elle mag subscription.0 -
VALM, I just took a look on QVC, and those Tarte products look lovely! It's not a brand I'd heard of before you mentioned it. That highlighter set in particular looks lovely, and great brushes... Tempted to get it for myself, but I'm not allowed until I use up a few more things :P
All these beautiful things do make me want to get through my stash so that I feel able to try and buy new things
A couple of outs for me:
- Boots essentials nail polish remover. WDBA. Cheap, and works. No fuss. Now have a small bottle of artificial scented acetone free remover to UU first though
- perfume sample - narciso rodriguez l'absolu for her. WNB. Not awful, but nothing I'd want to use again.
And TA a nail polish - I dropped a box with a few in it, and the top/neck of an ELF one broke. It can't be repaired, so in the bin it went. Nice colour, but I have other similar ones, so I'm not too annoyed.
And I found out I had another ciate mini in my fave colour that is about to run out, yay! From a 1.5 year old advent calendar I haven't actually unpacked properly, I just display it0 -
Noble Viking - I'm using dove beauty finish atm too and I don't like the smell that much either! I thought it was just me as normally love dove ones but this one just smells odd. :-/No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Would love to know how you get on with the NYX mascara. I have a few GWP sizes to use first but am keen to try another NYX one. The one I used previously was lovely but the brush was too big.
Re your palettes is it worth you depotting them? I see a lot if YouTubers doing this. I suppose if you were giving them away to friends and family you could do this? Is giving away only part of it. Also, if you are thinking of selling my daughter has had success selling used items on Depop as they accept used cosmetics - EBay doesn't.
VALM, I haven't tried it yet but I will report back! Not overly impressed with the Over the Taupe eyeshadow but I'm going to try it with the Crème de Nude Colour Tattoo underneath and see if that helps.
I think I'm too clumsy to attempt depotting! The palettes I'm GA really aren't worth depotting and I don't have a magnetic palette for them to go in. I don't think I'm going to really miss any of them and none of them are exactly high-end. I will have a high-end IN soon though as I bought the QVC Tarte TSV! I looked it up after you mentioned it and was umming and ahhing about it. I'd got as far as the checkout screen this morning then decided not to get it. Then I put QVC on and saw the demo they were doing and bought it! The mascara looks so amazing and I've got decent eyelashes to start with so I'm excited about that!
I was a bit wary of buying foundation without testing it but I did a bit of research and looked it up on Temptalia etc and have taken a gamble. I think it's amazing value even if the foundation doesn't work out anyway.
I will remember that about Depop though as I am in two minds about keeping a Laura Mercier palette.0 -
Got a load of GAs! I went through my palettes and this is what's going:
1. I Heart Makeup Go to Heaven
2. I Heart Makeup I Heart Obsession
3. I Heart Makeup U R The Best Thing
4. Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 2
5. Makeup Revolution Pro Looks Palette Stripped and Bare
6. B. Quad in Charleston
7. Autograph Quad
8. Kiko Colour Fever Quad in 100
There's nothing wrong with any of these really. The Kiko one is a bit wishy washy on the pigment front though. I just think I have a lot of similar things especially with Make Up Revolution and I Heart Makeup because they're owned by the same people. Some of the I Heart Makeup ones are a bit fiddly too and I don't end up using them.
Also UU a L'Occitane Shea Rose Lip Balm which came in a GWP I think. It was quite nice but I think I preferred the non scented one.
And one IN. St Ives Gentle Apricot Scrub. The Lush one was too harsh for me but my skin does need the occasional scrub. Used this when I got home and seems to do the job.
Off to Ikea tomorrow so there will be some candle damage to the IN list!0 -
Firstly Dolly84 thank you for the new thread.
I have enjoyed reading other’s routines, here is my rather convoluted one. It has taken a couple of years of trial and error to perfect the one for sensitive times. Most of my products are high end, mainly because I can get samples or gwp’s to try new things, I have spent a fortune on more MSE items, only to end up using them other than on my face when they caused a reaction. Although I have been ill for quite a long time, my skin looks great, so while I can afford it I am happy to splash the cash for the moment.
My Routine Age 66, skin normal/dry/sometimes ultra sensitive.
Sensitive skin times - Morning
Cleanse with LRP Toleriane
Tone LRP Serozinc on sore patches, then Darphin Intral
Eye Cream from stash, currently Hylamide Sub-Q Eyes

Treat with A-Derma Epitheliale AH or LRP Toleriane Ultra and/or copious amounts of Rosehip Oil
Moisturiser from stash which does not aggravate/cause reaction.
Separate spf from stash which does not cause irritation

Thank you Dolly84 for starting us off this month.
*Waves to Kadison*
I had a crap month last month so will actually try to post more regularly this month rather than saving uus in a file and then posting.
INs
5 products from a beautiful world spring summer box
Uus
1-3) 30 sample sachets of various products that I took on holiday.
4) fizz banger bath bomb WNBA I have gone off the scent so would not repurchase.
5&6) mediheal IPI sheet mask WBA
7) Paul Mitchell tee tree hair and scalp treatment WNBA I don't like anything that makes my scalp tingle and this was no exception.
8) Caudalie Devine oil 15 ml WNBA this smelt of oil if that makes any sense and so it was fine to use but prefer them with added scent
9) face wash sample bottle WNBA nice enough and can't remember name but nothing that made me want to buy it.
10) Schwarzcopf biotin volume conditioner WBA nice enough and very often on offer.
11-14) various leader and mediheal sheet masks WBA
15) Skinfood black sugar cleansing oil WBA really liked this product and it was my second bottle. Removed all traces of makeup including waterproof.
16) Frizzease air dry waves styling foam WBA have another in stock but it worked well to hold my natural waves but it did leave it feeling horrible the next day.
In regards to current skincare routine. I am 37 with acne prone combination/ oily skin.
Morning is simple
Wash face in what ever I have in use
Tone- currently using urban Veda soothing hydrating toner
Hado labo lotion ( Japanese hydrolonic acid toner like product)
Hado labo milk same as above but thicker
Emulsion currently using 3W collagen emulsion
SPF 50
Then make up
Evening is more complicated I follow a mostly Korean skincare regime which for most people would be too much but I like it and my skin is clearer than it ever was before.
First oil cleanse - just finished skin food black sugar cleansing oil but do use Lish ultrabland or Banilla and co clean it zero.
Then face wash, currently using a face soap which I don't like.
Then I use a vitamin C product called OST 20 which I leave on for 20 minutes.
Tone with either rose water or Urban Veda soothing hydrating toner.
Then first essence called Missha time revolution the first treatment essence.
Then hado labo lotion
Then a sheet mask of some description normally either leaders or mediheal but have a choice.
Then 2/3 serums/ ampoules/ essences depends on what my skin needs or is doing.
eye cream cruelty Iope Korean brand
Then face cream currently using Iope anti wrinkle intensive cream or aldi's caviar illumination night cream
Then I do use clay or exfoliating masks a couple of times a week.
I use retinol a few times a week and a sleeping mask 3 times a week.0 -
L'oreal Everpure Conditioner - UU - Love this and onto a second set
Nizoral shampoo - UU - an essential for my scalp
Epsom salts - UU - used for muscle ache bath
No 7 eyeshadow - neon pink - TA - owned for over 15 years, I tried it again recently, and it's just awful... I've given up totally on trying to make this work!
KMS Hair stay - TA - totally hate this product, it's like popping candy in your hair. It's a moose but is supposed to have the properties of a hairspray. It's noisy and faddy (the popping candy effect - which doesn't shut up for 10 minutes + after putting it on), and doesn't particularly keep hair in place. My Silvikrin hairspray is miles better. With KMS I also needed to wash my hair the same day - with the hairspray I can at least brush it out and have second day hair with a new hairstyle.
Ted baker LE gloss & nail varnish set - GA - gave this away as it didn't suit me and I'm just not reaching for it
Natural collection lip gloss - TA - one of my glosses had changed colour and texture, it was time to throw it
Simple deep cleanser mask - UU - surprisingly good considering I don't usually use Simple products, they tend to irritate my skin. Bought this by mistake a long time ago. I'm slightly short sighted so I squint a lot, and I'm starting to get the faintest of bulges in between my eyebrows from knitting my brows. Using this fairly regularly (there's quite a few uses in the tube) completely stops this - I guess my skin is dehydrated when it "stays" in the bulgy state. This definitely works at rehydrating and the effect lasts a few days (especially when I remember to drink enough water).
Radox Lime shower gel - UU - love this scent!
Maybelline stay fresh concealer 03 - GA - slightly too dark for me and I think the formulation has changed, the 02 I've UUed recently has been creasing under the eyes where it never did that before
Lipcote - TA - rubbish, totally dries out my lips and only slightly enlongates the wear of a lipstick
INS!
Radox lavender shower gel - IN! Using this now, lovely scent. Radox is my favourite shower gel brand for sure.
NC20 Mac Select Concealer - amazing! great coverage and doesn't crease at all
Umburto Giannini curly friends moose - I've missed this a lot
Umburto shine spray - Wanted to see how this works. Verdicts still out.
Radox bath salts - very cheap although very strongly scented. Not sure if I'll stick to this for muscle ache baths. I'll see how it is the next time, not sure how great this is for down stairs iyswim?!0
