Can I take someone to court for borrowing a family video?

If you really have exhausted every other avenue open to you eg. asking your cousins closer relatives (your aunt/uncle or sister/brother) to intervene, then you need either the carrot or the stick. Assuming of course the VHS still exists.
Carrot would be to offer her something in return
Stick would in my opinion be a solicitor's threatening letter. Will cost you something but not as much hassle as court.0
