  • I've just checked the vista measurements and it won't fit in my car :-( it's a little wider than the wayfarer which only just got width wise. Will double check when I next go to a shop but it's unlikely :(

  • We will have a sling too :) whether he ends up using it, who knows!

I will be sure to tell him to teach 'duck'! Luckily he sometimes has our godson on his shoulders and hasn't yet taken him out on a doorframe or anything :)

It is good you are thinking about this, I see a few men in my area walking around as if they are pushing a dolls pram. I have the Joolz Day which is designed to be higher. The carrycot and pushchair is higher (can be used in restaurants as a highchair). I loved using it, it's easy to manoeuvre and suited myself and husband.

I know you said Bugaboo's are out of your price range but have you thought about second hand? There are always loads for sale on Gumtree / Ebay etc. Our is currently for sale lol.

We had the Bee, it's got a good long adjustable handle. Advantage of it is, that it converts into a push chair so you don't need to go out and buy a new buggy when the time comes.
  • Thanks, will check out bugaboos too... once we have an idea of what we actually want to go for, I can have a good look for secondhand ones. The ones I am looking at all convert to the pushchair :)

I've been told today that there is a giant kiddicare around 90 minutes from us and a warehouse type babystore about an hour away - in opposite directions typically. I've also found a baby barn place near my work so I'll head to all of those to see what they end up offering.

Baby is very high up in stokke xplory. Handlebar comes up high, and can be tilted upwards to make it even higher. The frame does not fold up particularly small though, although I can fit it in the boot of my teeny car with one of the headrests on the back seat removed. Bit of a knack to it though!

It is very expensive though and difficult to find accessories that (changing bag, parasol) fit so you end up buying the official stokke stuff, which costs a bomb!
