re. Aircoach Dublin

I am going to Dublin for just a short conference next week. I prefer not to book the Aircoach in advance for a specific time in case I am delayed. It seems pretty frequent during the main part of the day. If I buy a ticket when I get there, can I pay on the coach or do I need to buy from a machine? I have a limited amount in Euros left from my last holiday and I am working out whether I need to get more from an ATM. Most of my expenses are already paid for.

I would buy the Visitor Leap Card on arrival in Dublin Airport. It covers various days of unlimited travel on all travel modes, and includes the 747 Airport bus to and from the airport. Great value!

The 747 Dublin Bus Express from the airport to the city is frequent. It goes through the Port tunnel and is very quick. Plenty of stops in the City too.

Click "View on Map" to see the stop nearest to where you need to go. Stops are on a monitor and are announced on board the bus.0 -

Thanks but I plan to get this one http://www.aircoach.ie/timetables/route-700-dublin-airport-dublin-city-centre simply because it has a stop right outside my hotel. It isn't worth me getting a visitor card because I will only have these 2 journeys from the airport and back again.0 -

Fair enough, but the info might be useful to others who might read the post!
Anyway, I see on the Aircoach website that Cash fares apply, aswell as online, so that suggests to me that you can pay the driver! And that is confirmed on the websit

There are staff outside terminal 2, you pay them and then get on.
One thing we noticed was how busy it got during rush hour. We got on at Westmoreland Street and they only let 5 passengers on at O Connell street as it was nearly full! So allow plenty of time on your return!
Also, I don't think those cards mentioned are particularly good value for money.0 -

Thanks as I didn't see this on the site. Your advice would be fine for someone visiting as a tourist.
