A word of warning to people........received an email this morning which looks as if it's from EBay but when I hover over the email address it shows: ebay@lizeth.blastclap.com. It says in the subject 100 free listings + 75% off. Nothing in my EBay messages or in the Promotional offers. I think this might be the first time I've received a scam EBay email but possibly others have but just be on your guard.
I've put this message in the free listings alerts but thought it beneficial to add it as a new thread as many people don't go into the free listings now with all the offers being different.

May I suggest that you forward the email to spoof@ebay.co.uk if you haven't already done so.0

I did mark it as a Phishing scam and I think that goes to Microsoft. It disappears when we do that. I certainly will if I ever receive another one. I did copy the website which was showing when I hovered above it and put it into the address bar but I got a message saying something about not trusting this website and did I wish to continue which I didn't.
If anyone else reading this receives the same email, as it will obviously go to thousands of people, can you please forward it to the above? Many thanks."For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0 -

There is no point at all in reporting it to paypal- they confirm everything to be a fake, even legit emails.
It's just another phish, some of us get hundreds of them a week and I think it is more useful to educate people to take care when acting on emails- rather than hope paypal can do something about them. These have nothing at all to do with paypal and paypal cannot stop them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. We do get lots of them every week, some offering vouchers, supposedly, but when you hover over the email address it's nothing to do with the actual company. Other say you've won a prize. Always good to get into the habit of holding the cursor over the email address as those particular emails never show the company that they pretend to be from.
Hopefully the warning will alert some people as I'm sure there could be many who could get caught out with the 100 Free Listings + 75% off subject."For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0
