Hi, I wanted to join here please! I was thinking about doing £5 a day.
I need to know if this counts: I borrowed my kids savings yday and paid off one of my credit cards (standing order in place instead of credit card payments so savings will be repaid in full by end of September!)
That will save me a lot in interest between now and september but I'm not sure exactly how much - do I count it? And if I do, how much of it do I count? My interest charge last month was 41quid.. Thanks for any helpJune 2016 Grocery Challenge: £252.83/£175

Brilliant start to the month for so many of you. I can see June is going to be a record-breaker:j
A big welcome to all the new people (just ask if you need any help or advice, we're a friendly lot on here:T.
Welcome back to regular returners and those we haven't seen for a while. Here's to a great month for us all:beer:0 -
The man who was interested in my chimney pots called as promised last night. I had the laptop switched on so I could show him similar ones on a couple of websites but he'd already done some research himself and showed me what he had on his phone:T. We had no trouble agreeing a fair price and he ended up paying £425 in all:eek:. I'm totally gobsmacked, that's every bit of the 'going' price.
He lives 'local' to me but we're not exactly in his social circle:o as he lives in the old manor house:rotfl: although we've met and chatted a few times at village events. That's how I knew he might be interested in buying them as we'd been to a village meeting held at his place and I noticed he had some old chimney pots planted up near his path and mentioned to him that I had 3 I was after selling.
He paid me in cash last night too:dance::dance::dance:
I mentioned the Belfast sinks but he's not interested in them:(0 -
