10,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Finally, got started. £49.60 interest.

On the plus side I have started to keep a spending diary to monitor things more closely. I have also joined the grocery challenge and have done quite well so far on reducing my food spending.

On the minus side I have "invested" in new shoes and plants for the garden.

  • Welcome back, Kantankrus Mare. Glad you had a wonderful holiday:T. Boo to work so soon after getting back though:(. I love Corfu although it's been soooo long since we last went there (or anywhere else for that matter:().

Lots of you have money in the pipeline, here's to everything working out well for you:beer:

Nothing's come in here from any of the expected sources so far. A couple of sums claimed but not received yet. Waiting to hit £20 again on Prolific to avoid Paypal fees but things seem really slow on there at the moment, for me anyway. Up to £17.25 so far this time around.

I wonder where Lexbubbles has got to, she hasn't posted in weeks.

    Enjoy the sunshine, everyone:j

Can anybody tell me please - do we count cashback as money earned toward this challenge?
I got £14 of freebies off checkout smart.. - do I count it as money earned even though I had to spend money to start with?
I will get 100% back but not immediately..
    Thanks :o

Today I've done £5.15 in surveys & sold something for £8.06(after fees) on ebay. So that's £15.21 today! ^_^ Total so far £59.99

    Hi,

I've been lurking and getting ideas...Thanks

I wondered if anyone knew the best place to sell clothes. I've got a dress from Monsoon that I'd like to sell. It's about 5/6 years old now but I only wore it once and it still has the tags on.

    Any ideas?
  • One of my eBay listings has got 3 watchers and 1 small bid with over a day left to go, at least it's going to sell, it's a big bag of beads that's been sitting around for months because I kept forgetting to sell it XD

I've noticed the same thing on Prolific, I suspect it's because academics and PhD students have been dealing with supervisions over the exam period (I know a couple of PhD students who mentor/supervise 2nd and 3rd year undergrads) and so have less time for experiments while exam season is on. I'm sure it'll pick up more especially towards September when 3rd year PhD students suddenly realise they're missing essential research and go in to a panic and shove loads of stuff on PA :rotfl:

£16.30 tips to add for me. :D

Wont be much else happening for me today as I set about getting back to normal life. Come back to not a lot in the cupboards and now piles of ironing to attack.

Luckily the kids ( 21 and 23) left the house very clean and tidy and the dog is still alive.
