I am approaching the end of a 0% purchase deal on a Tesco card so was thinking about a new card and who is likely to offer a decent credit limit. Sainsbury's is currently offering 27 months at 0% and Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank is currently months at 0%.
Does anyone have any experience of these providers- how generous or otherwise are they with credit limits?

Clydesdale give me an above average limit. NB: Can't get on line access unless you have a current account with them.

You also have to wonder why a company offers a long 0% on purchases deal and then writes to you a few months later offering debt advice 'as we note you are only making minimum payments each month.

Both gave 'typical' limits for me last year at £10K.

I only have Barclaycard (£12K) and MBNA (£25K) higher than these.

I applied for 2 0% cards, Lloyds and Sainsbury's. Both gave a 7.5k limit; so Sainsbury's would appear to be about standard and neither generous nor stingy.

Sainsbury's required me to sign and return a credit agreement though, which I did last week, so I'm still waiting for my card.

I applied for a Sainsbury's card yesterday. Got accepted with a £9k limit.
