Scottish Power Boiler cover

We took out their boiler cover costing £11/mth. over 18 months ago and thought it a good deal. Yesterday we had a small condensate leak on the boiler and decided to call Scottishpower to investigate.
The Engineer arrived and immediate said there is no Gas Safety sticker on the boiler so is not prepared to look at the boiler. I immediately called their office and the Engineer had said Boiler had been interfered with by third party and were revoking the policy.
No one had touched the boiler, why would anyone do that when it was covered by Insurance. The engineer had lied and I have no redress.
I am now awaiting the Boiler manufacture engineer to visit next week to examine the boiler costing me anything between £79 and £200. Scottish Power said they will record and investigate the complaint, end of story.
BEWARE of SCOTTISH POWER sharp practices, they boiler cover is worthless.

The policy should include an annual inspection, where any issues like this should be picked up. Did this happen?0
