I'm not totally understanding of this. Do you mean if the police can provide reg no of car, she could make a claim on her insurance for her car (she's fully comp) and the MIB could maybe cover her excess loss any costs incurred on renewal of insurance due to loss of her no claims?

One of the neighbours saw some of it though window. It left with only 3 tyres also, so I guess it will have been found.

She's only going back tomorrow, so hopefully find out of neighbours what they know.
