From what read on here, saying they will they do this and do that before/after you move in, means nothing. Once they got you and signed for 6/12 months, they don't care.
To put it another way, if was the landlord, I would do the place up even before advertising for tenants.
Summary: I would look elsewhere.
Our plan is for the decorations to be specified in the contract. Or to put it another way, if LL doesn't do it we get our money back. Of course we would lose the admin fee, or do we? We on!y proceeded the application because the agency told us that LL would redecorate the property prior to move.
I have to say we the property has several offers in so despite its problems it is a desirable place. I know! Go figure :cool:..............................................................................
