    Oh, you shining wit!

Less funny if you had actually READ what I had said. I didn't say "flying BY coach" I said "flying coach". An Americanism, admittedly, but surely even basement dwellers like yourself would be familiar with it?

I have to give you credit, the way that you responded to my post (made in jest) is both cringeworthy and hilarious. :T

Lumpwood charcoal is better than briquettes if there's a choice.

I think our Bob likes to dish it out, but doesn't like it when he gets a bit back.

In his head calling someone a "Basement dweller", which he did to you is fine, but my generic use of a 3/10 rude word (a bit like buzzcocks) he felt the need to report to Sir.

A product improves if you charge more for it?

If you have a superior product you need to charge more for it because of the higher quality materials used.

There are exceptions to the rule but you do normally get what you pay for.

Indeed, duly noted for future BBQs.

I am surprised that this thread hasn't died, I just wanted a quick vent to warn other shoppers off of a not very good product that Lidl were discounting so might have been tempting to some of my fellow MSErs!
