It's his android device per the OP, therefore tampering with it potentially invokes the computer misuse act 1990 s3.2(a). thankyou for all your replies. I agree i cant stop him doing what he wants and that it is his money to do what he wants with it, I have asked him to stop I have begged him to stop. and neither have worked. I have taken his tablet off him afte i found out about his last spending spree. and over the last 2 years he has spent around £2000 on what he believes are "antiques" and as a result this has put a great strain on our relationship.
I have blocked the access to the auction site through our WIFI and thankfully he isnt very technically minded so shouldn't be able to reverse this. if this fails the I cant see any future for us.SPC 0370 -

If your future is based on his lack of technical ability and your ability to block a site on a device you can't control, I'd be concerned. All he needs to do is connect to a different network and it's game over for you two (by the sound of it).
Good luck, anyway.0 -

If it's from 1 device, you can block it on that particular device (hosts file), alternatively, you can do it across your local network (your wifi) using the router administration page.0
