Carers allowance and state pension ?

Hi I have recently started claiming Carers Allowance.
I am a few years short of qualifying for maximum state pension and was wondering how many weekly payments from the carers allowance would be needed to make up a missing year.

Thanks

How many years do you actually have.. Sometimes its not worth paying for missing years

Have you had a pension forecast.

Yes got a forecast and I'm 2 years short for a full pension.

I get a pension contribution because of the carers allowance.

I was just wondering if a year consists of 52 weeks or if I had, say 32 weeks contribution, that would make up an additional year.
