IVA finished

Hi hope I'm in the right place. I finished paying my IVA in August 2014 but have literally only just today received my completion certificate. Looking to start to get my credit rating sorted so I can get a mortgage with my partner in the future. So just wondering really if I can just apply for credit cards now and also how long does the iva show up on my credit score if that makes sense.
Sorry if I'm in the wrong section or not made much sense.
Thanks for any help

The score isn't seen by lenders only you.
The score is related to your history but the 3 credit reporting agencies each use a different way to rate/score you and not all lenders etc report to all 3 agencies.
Your credit file/history is what lenders see which is what you need to add to.
As to the IVA, google came up with this.
Its 6 years from when it started.
A credit card might be useful and pay it off at end of the month.0 -
Open a HTB ISA and get saving. Don't fall back into old ways.0
