Druisillas Park

We're off to Butlins (Bognor) next week and thought as we cant get in to our chalet until 4 that we would go somewhere first.
Has anyone been to Druisillas Park? More importantly - is it worth spending my Tesco deals on!
Also, can anyone confirm whether an afternoon is enough time to spend there?
My daughter has just started at a day nursery so I dont want to take her out of it for the whole day but thought I'd go and get her at about 11.30 then head off to Druisillas getting there for about 12.30-1pm, stay there til about 5 and then head off to Bognor.
Am I wasting my time and deals or is that plenty of time to see everything.
Thanks in advance.

I would spend a whole day at Drusillas if possible to get maximum value from your vouchers. If you're new you will need the extra time to get around. My 2 monsters know what they like and we can spend less time there. The man without a signature.0

Thanks Vikingaero perhaps I might be better finding somewhere else to go for a few hours near to Butlins and saving the vouchers for when we can spend the day there.
Would hate to have to go without having seen everything - we went to one recently though all geared up to spend the day there and we'd done everything by 1pm and was back indoors by 2.30!0 -
Drusillas is pretty compact but there are plenty of things to do. Go during the week if you can and avoid the weekends. Whenever you go try and arrive early when they open at 10am. Ideally you need to go when the weather is dry as most of the zoo and play attractions are outdoors.
The zoo section will take you about 45mins to an hour and a half to walk around and you can walk around as many times as you like. The zoo trail exits into the first play area and there is a indoor soft play (Amazon Adventure) if rain threatens. There's an indoor toddlers barn next door to the soft play.
The next play area has the Thomas railway and you can ride this as many times as you like. If the weather is sunny and hot then there is a lagoon for the kids to splash around in so maybe take a towel and swimmers.
The restaurant is OK for a self service place but in true MSE style you can take a picnic and there are plenty of tables near Thomas the Tank.
Our itinerary for Drusillas goes like this:
Get there at 10am, show season tickets, turn sharp right after the ticket booths, walk around the restaurant/railway and straight into Amazon Adventure soft play. We're always the first there so we bag a table and have a coffee whilst the monsters play. By 11am they've had enough and we go on the train to get it out of their system and so we don't have to go back on again if it gets busier later. They have a play outside and we have lunch at 12ish to avoid the queues in the restaurant. After lunch when everyone else is eating we hop back onto the train. Then we walk right to the exit and re-enter where we came in and do the zoo. We find that early in the morning most of the animals are fairly inactive and you can't see much. In the afternoon they scamper about much more. The man without a signature.0 -
Thanks again Vikingaero - think I might do this on the Monday on our way home - like you say as it will be new to us it will take us longer to find out way around.
Will follow your route though - like you say probably best to leave the zoo until the animals have woken - by that I'm not sure if I mean the zoo animals or the kids!!
Thanks again for the brilliant advice.0
