Sky Introduce A Friend

I recently took up the offer from Sky to introduce a friend. I referred a friend who has never used Sky and she organised her installation, choosing a Sky Q offer. This has null and voided any introductory offer for both of us! I spoke to Sky about this and they said if the new customer takes up ANY special offer when joining Sky, then the introduce a friend reward is cancelled for both parties. Let's face it, most people joining Sky are going to take up a special offer when joining, therefore Sky won't pay out on their Introduce A Friend scheme. All in all, this is a huge con. It was not stated in the terms and conditions at the time of the referral. So beware mentally spending that Sky reward cos chances are you'll never receive it :mad:

Apart from in the Ts&Cs on the 'refer a friend' page?

Your friend must live at a different UK address to you. We will send you your £125 Prepaid Mastercard® reward once we receive your friend's first subscription payment. Existing customer must remain an active customer to qualify. Offer not for Sky group employees or commercial use. Not available with any other offers.
