in Credit cards
Apparently, Nationwide is one of the supported banks for Android Pay. But the Nationwide credit card isn't working (says the card is not supported) but my Nationwide debit card is working. I really like the convenience of using Android Pay but I prefer to purchase things on my credit card due to the cashback I get, anyone got this working? Or know why it may not be working for me?

Nationwide don't support it - I doubt they will make an exception simply for you.

The cashback available on a contactless Select card payment is next to nothing anyway.0

Maximum 15p per contactless transaction, better than nothing but hardly worth getting worked up about. And if the OP wants it that badly they can simply do a C&P transaction with the Select card.0

It's 0.5% isn't it?
Not a fortune but theres not many options a lot better better once you've used up the tsb contactless tsb and potentially Amex if it's accepted.
What's the TSB card you speak of that supports Android Pay and also has cashback?
Yeah, 0.5% isn't a lot thinking about each transaction but that adds up to quite a lot over the year which is mostly made up from all these small transactions.
I like the convenience of Android Pay but not so much to sacrifice my 0.5% cashback :-)0 -

I didn't say it supports android pay but I prefer more money in my pocket than playing with the latest gadget.
It's the debit card on tsbs current plus account, 5% per month cashback on contactless on the first £100 of spend.0 -
Nationwide only support Android Pay on their debit cards, not the credit cards.
The credit cards aren't even contactless.
0.5% is 0.5%, and there is no limit to the transaction amount with Android Pay. I've already paid £58 to Pets at Home via Android pay, it's just that if it's over £30 you have to unlock the phone, so the £30 contactless limit is irrelevent.0 -
I spoke to nationwide about this on the day android pay was released. They told me they plan to add their credit cards to android pay later this year.
Makes sense as you can already use their credit cards on apple pay.0 -

Whoop whoop. This makes me really happy. I'm sure it's only a matter of time as people using Pay by phone becomes more common.0 -
