Advice needed NUS Extra

Options
hi all,

I have enrolled on afoundation degree at derby university which will be done solely via elearning i am apparently entitled to get a NUS Extra card but i will be unable to collect it from the sudent union as it is miles away from me. Does any1 know how to go about getting delivered to your house. I know that open university students are now entitled to them also how do they get theres if they do not attend uni????

give student services a ring - i'm guessing that policies on this kind of thing vary by institution and if they have distance learning then they should have some system in place.

Go to the cards section in the website. I am studying part time for the ACCA qualification and have applied for the associate card.

There is a form that you print off and send to them.
  • yup you can get it send to a home addy, i am working NUS extra this year also!

  • I had one last year, applied online and had to go and collect it from the union - I'm even less committed to the uni than an e-learner so that was a proper pain in the @rse. (I work 160 miles from home )

This year it came straight to my home address because it hadn't changed from last year.

  • Got mine delivered to my house this morning after applying online and selecting the option to have it sent home.

It is my first NUS Extra card and my first year at University.
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
