can you make payments to your next account in-store? avoiding this problem

No, you can't pay your account with vouchers in store, you have to send them off to the directory people

  • Can you ask for a gift card or does it have to be vouchers? As you can now use a gift card online as payment?

Sorry to be boring and totally different to everyone else but I say get Asda vouchers.
You will get just over £202. You then take (to the penny) the equivalent from your bills money and split it. £100 clears the store card and gives you the moral boost that you need. The other £102 goes to the next account.
You then think about who will be wanting ideas for your christmas presents and ask family members to club together to get you the Radley handbag.
You must get the Radley bag rather than the next one as they are fantastic quality and last well. You will also find if you look on ebay that Radley bags still sell well when second hand. They are a sought after brand and £60 is a good price for one.
If you do not have anyone to buy you a Radley bag then I think that you should buy it for yourself but you need to half your frittering away money until it is cleared.
Don't buy the next bag because you are only getting it because it's cheaper than a bag you have fallen in love with. I doubt if you would have gone out and bought it if you hadn't seen the Radley bag first- am I right?
Hope this has given you another idea to chew over!

    Next vouchers.

The extra £2 in the Asda vouchers will probably be taken up in interest payments because it will take you two months to get the £200 together from what you would have spent in Asda.

I think I might turn this thread into my diary thread if no one minds - so SOA will be posted later today!

Thanks everyone for replying to this thread! I finally made a decision - and went with the Next vouchers option. I decided I didnt like the bag in Next though! Ill send them directly to Next when they arrive on Tuesday.

I decided this because I felt that I would just spend the Asda vouchers more frivolously than cash. I get paid on Thursday so ive got a spending diary ready and will need to re-work my budget as I seem to be spending a little too much on groceries anyway - we have a freezer and fridge full and am spending what I previously allowed my budget to be.

I think this is partly because im too good a shopper, I come home with £50 of food for just under £40! I need to reduce this down further.

On another note, I went to do a mystery shop today (profit of £11) and spent £11 on a mirror that was reduced for £70!!
