Too many credit searches- complain?

I have applied for a mortgage with nationwide and FINALLY it has been approved. I pay for experian reports and can see my score has gone down loads! It went from 999 to 600ish! The only changes are FIVE credit searches from Nationwide! I expect two- AIP then full app. Am I right? Should I complain?
Thanks
Katie

You could if you wanted. Or at least ask them about it. Are they all hard searches?

But don't worry about the score.

Rather than spending your time complaining. You'd be better off spending it cancelling your subscription to Experian. The money would be better used overpaying your mortgage. Now that would improve your credit profile.

It's not often I agree with Thrugelmir but you would do well to pay heed to his advice.
