Dont know the lengths, but was on a flight this week, and they gave a larger lady an extension belt - presume it clips in to the normal seatbelt, so you should be fine.Might be best to check when you book tho - esp if its long haul - you dont want to be uncomfortable. May need to book two seats or business class? Not sure of your circumstances! Hope this helps.0

Yes the 2 seats option has been used before.
Would not worry too much, they make exceptions and it is only for take off and landing

Dont be embarrassed - just have a quiet word with hostess when you get on. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable they should be embarrassed over their bad manners! Dont let this minor thing stop you going on hols!0 -
Better to ask than trying to hold your breath for a few hours...
Having said that, normally just the blokes with 50 inch+ waists who seem to ask (I'm a 36 and plenty of slack in the belts).0 -
The woman sitting next to me on my first ever flight 44 years ago had an extension. She wasn't particularly large, but was fine with everything. I hope you have a lovely holiday.

They give you an extender belt which is the same as mothers with small children have so the kid can sit on your lap but still be strapped in. As the plane belt is like a seat belt you just slot the extension in & can then tighten it up. Crew have to check that everyone is belted up before take off, so it's better to ask as you get on the plane. Crew are usually discreet & everyone else is too busy getting settled so don't let the thought of it it spoil your trip.
I would make sure you walk around, esp if long haul. I'm sure that you know the risk of dvt are increased if you sit still for extended periods. I tend to go to the toilet every hour & come back the long way round, rather than stand in the aisle doing stretching exercises which make me feel a bit silly!
