    Abusive and aggressive? Telling you to take responsibility for your failure to provide accurate information and payment is abusive and aggressive?

    You are being far too sensitive...

    Chill marlie :)

    I get what you're saying, it does seem very fishy and it is possible that OP provided the incomplete information to begin with....

    BUT it is also possible that the correct information was provided but the company made an error.

    If OP is paying a lot of invoices and on time then I'm inclined to give the benefit of the doubt here...

    Probably just a bit of a stitch up for the OP in fairness, it happened to me with a CCJ 6 years ago. Letters delivered to my university address for a debt I didn't know was owed (overpayment of a bursary), when they had my home address on file! There was about £600 slapped onto the £300 debt but the company eventually wrote off the charges.

    I'm not really up on this sort of legal issue so can't really comment on what to do, but I would implore OP to gather as much evidence as they can to support their stance.

    @DaytonaO Thanks for restoring calm...

    I have no intention of not paying my debt , its the added legal charges they are threatening me with when they have sent no invoices or demands to the property .. I think I'll hand it to my solicitors in the morning ..

    ....: and add more legal fees, which you will be responsible for.

    Have you contacted the freeholder/managing agent? Have you paid the outstanding charge (ignoring the additional fees that have been added)?

    At some point you must have provided the business address rather than the more obvious home address, so you need to establish whether what you provided was complete and has been garbled somewhere, or if you only provided a partial address in the first place.

    Although you've ignored my earlier comment, you need to establish whether the lease places the onus on you to pay. You also need to establish why they have the wrong address, and why they didn't serve the property directly which is usual.

    Good luck
