Travellers Cheques - selling

Firstly, apologies if this is a silly qu, but never had to do this before!We have travellers cheques left over ($) and want to cash in, so to speak. Do we have to go back to the place we got them from, or is it posisble to 'shop' around for the people who will give us the most sterling for them?Any help gratefulyy received!

You can cash them anywhere that is willing to take them - or keep them for a future trip.

Thanks (thank button not working!). Do you know how I could easily find out who buys back at best rate? (short of trudging round high street)

M&S will be the best rate on the average High Street.

Buy back rates are generally poor.
