HSBC Success advice anyone?

My husband and I have had success at claiming back PPI on a loan with HSBC.
We've accepted the offer and returned the forms we would just like to know if anyone has had success with HSBC recently and how long it's actually taken to receive the money in our account? (We've read horror stories and when speaking to them on the phone they are pretty much useless!!)

All the banks have improved their complaint handling procedures. Too late if you have, but I hope you haven't returned your acceptance using recorded mail?
