Stud wall or Brick wall for ground floor extension bathroom shower?

I would prefer single brick wall but builder is suggesting stud wall with cement sheet...
The outer cavity wall is already done with brick outer and blocks inside. The internal wall is between bedroom, utility, study and shower. Should this be a single brick wall or stud wall with cement sheets for water proofing?

Sorry but this is a post with way too little info.
You need to paint a clearer picture before anyone can help.
As an aside, nothing is single brick to the outside today, but in certain garage conversions the reqd U value can be achieved with clad on insulation
BUT, there is nothing in what you have said that would pass building regs???I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

Id go for timber stud with cement board or plasterboard and tanking membrane. Ensure the stud is packed with noise reduction insulationHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0
