French Petrol Crisis

What are the opinions on this? Apparently they're "running out" of fuel on the other side of The Channel. I'm heading off there for half term. I will fill up the tank this side in Folkestone (which I wasn't going to do), but have a 380 mile round trip to do the other side, which might be pushing my Polo's fuel consumption. Any thoughts?

Googling polo fuel tank capacity says the range is from 570 to 840 miles.

If you keep your speed down to 60, I'd have thought you'd manage this.

They've stated using emergency stocks to keep delivering to at least some petrol stations - there's apparently about 4 months worth of 'strategic reserves' stashed away Shortages are due in part to people panic buying, so things might just settle a bit over the next few days. There's a whole bunch of other strikes planned though, so if say, truck drivers, go on strike then that's going to be a whole different mess

You can take spare fuel if you're going through the tunnel, not sure about the ferries though.
