thompson on line booking not processed?

Can anyone help with a booking i have tried to make on the thompson web site for hotel only booking, i have gone all the way through to the end of the booking entered all the card details etc, and have had the message sorry the booking could not be processed please call this number.
I have tried again with another card the first being hubbys card and the second with my card but still i have had the same message telling me to phone a number but no answer all busy lines
so the question here is if the booking process failed and i tried again with another card does that mean i have not been charged as it did say it has not been processed. i am trying to contact my bank to check but guess what all lines are busy, i really need to book this up but do not want to try again as very unsure as to what is going on.

The site might be playing up they keep "upgrading" the site to make it better...lol Try again in the morning. Unless you have the confirmation email it wont be a booking. Which hotel is it for and when? just to make sure Thomsons are the cheapest...lolIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0

The hotel is the GRUPOTEL ALCUDIA SUITES £70 for the week i did look all over the web well the ones i know anyhow and this thompson one was a steal, some sites were asking £269,the thompson one had gone up over night to £116 still good i think. I did stick with it that night and managed to get the booking excepted and at the £70. I also checked with my bank to see if there were no transactions pending as i had attempted to do the booking in all three times, i am never quite sure when you get the message about the transaction not completing after entering the card details because there have been many times i have heard that that people have been charged twice when they have been told the first time it failed so i am allways wary when this happens and thompsons telephone lines are rubbish in the evenings.
