Hi, I had an open return ticket to Stansted from London. When I turned up for my coach, there were no seats and I had to get a taxi so as not to miss the flight. I contacted National Express asking for a refund for the taxi fare but they rebuffed me.
Am I entitled to a refund for the taxi fare? Thanks.

It does sound like they didn't validate their ticket for that service.
So what did they want to do, go on board and pick someone they didn't like the look of who actually had a booking for that service and have them thrown off so they missed their flight?Turning left avoids some of the idiots (only some)0
