Boiler flue extension and out of flat roof

Can I take this gas boiler flue out of flat roof via this chimney gap?

The wall you see is the original external wall and the flue currently is like this. Now we are building side extension hence need to take it out of roof.

Is any inspection chamber needed?
Is this dangerous? What if in future the gas leak inside extension room?

Many thanks

What boiler is it & why are you not asking the gas safe registered engineer you will need to use to alter the flue ?
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

There are maximum lengths the flue can be depending on the boiler. You can get "plume kits" designed to direct the steam up and away from a horizontal flue, but not to make a horizontal one into a vertical through a roof. I very much doubt this would meet building regs. Your best bet may be to consider venting vertically if there is a roof immediately above, or perhaps get the boiler moved to the other side of the wall so it would sit on what is now the external wall (where the flue is now) and then fit a vertical flue up through new extension roof. Connections etc all there just boiler on other side of wall.....however this may be costly, and ultimately you need to consult a Gas Safe engineer.

Another Co incident just waiting to happen. Get a RGI and stop guessing. You are neither qualified or competent to do this work.
