HSBC informal overdraft/credit rating impact?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me: going over the agreed overdraft of an HSBC Advance current account, and so triggering an 'informal' overdraft text message from the bank, but then paying into the account the same day and thereby avoiding the £5 charge... would this leave a mark on a credit file?
Thanks.
