Closing accounts

I have recently paid off my Argos,Littlewoods and Next accounts is it best now to close these as i don't intend to use them again.Also just switched a credit card,should i close the old credit card down?

    Generally it helps to have a medium debt facility and low debt to credit ratio

    If closing these helps these then go ahead (personal preference for me is only have open credit card/loan accounts)
