    Example ?
Here we are talking about fee free cash withdrawal and we are comparing like for like e.g. Visa vs Visa and Master Vs Master . ....

The post which you replied to specifically referred to the opening post in this thread, which was not only about fee free cash withdrawal but about general use of the Halifax Card overseas. Your additional comment to emphasise the benefits of debit cards for cash withdrawals was irrelevant to the post you were replying to.

In relation to the OP's original post <snip> ....

I've been a long term user of the Halifax Clarity card. It's by far the best one to use abroad.

One of the best, not the best.

This is due to its nature as a Credit Card which is mainly intended for purchase, and not cash withdrawal. So it will never be able to beat its counterpart, the Zero fee for foreign transaction Debit Card.

It is better if you have both of them as I mentioned in my post #90. One for purchase and one for cash withdrawal in foreign currency. I understand some people do not want or can not get for this sort of account. But you can or you have it why not use both of them.

Agreed. It was your post on the previous page that was misleading.
