Why has my clearscore gone down this month?

Haven't made any late payments for a long time as everything is direct debit, rent is paid direct to LL, hardly ever use credit card (unless thats why but they want to increase my limit next week anyway)

Despite that its gone down, only by 19 points but still what is reason?

You guess is as good as ours. The 'scores' actually mean nothing at all apart from a way to upsell their products to you to 'imporve' your score. All you need to be conscious of is making sure that all your information is correct and accurate as this is all a potential lender will see. The score you see is only seen by you. My clearscore and Noddle score keep fluctuating month to month and there is no reason for this as everytihng satys the same from my end.

Hope this clears it up for you.

Has your score/rating on Experian/Noodle gone down too ?

Oh wait the scores aren't relevant as only you can see them. Lenders/financial institutions see the history.

Because you changed the colour of your socks.

The scores are meaningless and exist only to persuade you to sign up top the CRA's subscription services. Not even the CRA's will be able to explain how they are 'calculated'.

Yes I know they are meaningless in many ways but even so since it went up each month I have checked its strange it suddenly went down.

That being said I recieved 2 debt collector letters a few weeks ago for disputed debts so that could be why.

I paid off a large loan early a couple of months ago - Clearscore score went down about 30 points!

Just proves how meaningless they are!

Focus on the climate, not the weather. As long as your managing your credit accounts well, a little 'rain' doesn't matter.

To extend your analogy Darkidoe, the problem here is it isn't actually raining - it's just a cr4p weather forecast...
