Hi
I want to transfer a credit card (nationwide) that has a debt of £1200 to a 0% balance transfer credit card. I also have a current account with nationwide (debit acc) which I want to continue to use. Would this affect the closing of my nationwide credit card account? Apologies I am new to the world of 0% balance transfers! I'm assuming when the balance gets transferred, the old credit card is closed down.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

You are only transferring the debt .... so the card stays open.
I have just transferred the balance from a NW Select card that is coming to the end of it's 0% period .... to a Santander 0% fee free 15 mth balance transfer card ......
It just shows up as a credit payment to the card being transferred from.
