No longer claiming tax credits - 2015/2016 renewal

I previously claimed tax credits as a single parent. Had a concentrix check last year and everything was fine. In August I increased to full time hours so with increase in salary was no longer entitled to tax credits. I'm just wondering if I'll receive a renewal pack to finalise payments made from Apr - Aug. Previous salary was £13k but increased to £33k so payments stopped. Thing is because salary increase was halfway through year p 60 is £22k. Am I right in thinking the disregard last year was £5k so they'll calculate last years figures on £17k?
Just to confuse things I'm getting married in July so would obviously like to get this all sorted now in case that complicates things (even though I'm not currently claiming ).
Thanks in advance for any info/advice.

Yes you'll still get a renewal.

What figure the claim will be based on depends on the 2014/15 income as well as 2015/16.

Increasing your income doesn't actually stop your claim just reduces payments to zero. So you'll still need to call when you start living with your partner/get married (whichever comes first) to end the single claim.

Thanks for your quick response. I just assumed my claim had stopped so didn't think I'd need to notify a change in circumstances. Can I call now to just stop the claim or will I need to wait till circumstances change then inform them?

You can't report that type of change in advance.

You could call them and ask if they'd withdraw your claim before you renew it.
