As the title, will weigh about 6kg and be 80x80x60cms. No rush to get there and not a lot of value.

Splitting would also be good if you can get the volume down - that is a sizeable box. If it is of little value I think this may not be worth posting I'm afraid.0

Yes, it's not so much the weight but the dimensions....

You can send it by sea. It'll take months to get there but that is the cheapest option.
NZ is zone 11 and 5kg with parcelforce economy would cost around £86.
