New laptop/Windows 10 Query

Ive just bought a new laptop with Windows 10 and all the apps. Previously Ive worked between two browsers Mozilla Firefox and Internet explorer, mainly Firefox where I kept several windows open at once, Hotmail, Ebay Facebook MSE etc so being ignorant on the use of the browser that opens up with Windows 10, I downloaded Firefox and found IE.
However Firefox doesn't seem to work very well and keeps coming up not responding, I'm getting our internet checked but it seems ok albeit a bit slow according to their tech people. My question is, is Firefox not very compatible with windows 10 and if I use the Windows 10 browser how do I import and bars at the top, eg status bar, menu bar etc. I don't really know how to work with the apps though will attempt to learn bit by bit. Thanks so much for any help.

I'm using Firefox 46.0.1 on windows 10 and it's fine.
I've not got to grips with Edge and can't see how to have a menu bar etc but if you want to use Edge, import favourites by clicking on the favourites icon (3 horizontal lines) on the top right and import favourites
oops - just checked & it doesn't seem to include Firefox in the list of options to import from! Another reason for me not bother learning how to use yet another browser...0 -
ie is hiding in accessories , if you like it , tag it to your task bar and use itSave a Rachael

Thanks everyone, to be honest everything is working better this evening, Im not sure if its because of my call to Talktalk, as internet speed is now a little bit better, I have pushed in every plug I can to ensure nothing is loose, little baby grandson is very attracted to my router. Mozilla seems to be okay, and Im learning a bit about the apps. I do like the task view feature. Thanks once again for your help on here will be back if things get worse.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494
