Insignia 2.0 CDTI reverse light cable / switch

Hi guys

Just a quick question. Where's the location of the reverse light cable/switch? I recently had a new clutch and flywheel fitted but the reverse light isn't working. I know it's definitely not the bulb as its been replaced and comes on (along with every other light) when I unlock the car, when looking under the bonnet I see a cable hanging down in front of the gearbox could that be the cable in question

there will be a switch , probably a 2 wire one , Vectra gearbox https://youtu.be/FpF1DaNn6mU you should be able to see it from above and replace the wires

I think it's on the front of the gearbox towards the top - you should see a black oval 2 pin plug, the loose wire should just push in & click into place. You may need to remove some covers & duscting to get a decent view of it.
